What is ESN (Erasmus Student Network)?

ESN is the biggest student association in Europe with over 15 000 volunteers. We, as ESN STUBA, are a local section, a non-profit organization focused on helping exchange students feel welcome while visiting our university. We help them settle in and organise events that they can come to and enjoy.

But we are not just an organization. ESN is a community, each member giving what they can and working together, trying to create the ultimate student experience where everyone can feel welcome, find like-minded people, and form friendships that last a lifetime.

What does it mean to be a member of ESN STUBA?

As an active member, you’ll help with preparation of events, using and improving your soft skills and of course attend these events for your own enjoyment as well. Anyone is free to create their own event and get help from other members.

There are also events organized for ESN members like teambuildings, National Assemblies (NA), or Erasmus Generation Meetings (EGM), each bigger than the next, where ESN members of other sections meet and get a chance to learn from each other. As a member you can attend these events with most expenses being covered by the section or university when possible.

And since you’ll join the ESN community, you’ll also be a part of something bigger, the greatest student initiative of our generation, where you can meet amazing people to learn from and make friends with.

So, what do you say? Want to give it a try? Show your initiative and contact us at: stuba@esn.sk
